Well the summer has flown by and now we're into fall. Mountain Biking season is really just getting going again since the weather is cooler and bearable on those long rides.
Last weekend Tess and Loїc hosted a "Non-wedding Party" for us. The night consisted of catching up with old friends, eating fantastic food, listening to funny stories, watching a slide show of our youth that Loїc put together for us, and Dee and I announcing that she's pregnant. I refuse to say we, as I've played my role, and now it's all her. There really is no we in the whole "being pregnant" thing, but hey I'm here to help. So now it's official, word is out and we no longer have to be all secretive...It feels great!
She's just over 3 months along, and growing rapidly. To answer some questions;
- No, there was no need for a shot gun wedding, but we were close. Apparently things happened pretty quickly there after
- Yes it was planned. We had been talking about it for some time, but had only recently started trying.
- Yes, it is the scariest thing that we've have ever embarked on. I am sure that other parents out there can sympathize. As we draw our breath from horrified *gasp*, we also realize that it is going to be one hell of a fun adventure.
